CloseNotice on Arrangements for Clearing and Settlement of Securities funds during Market Closure for Public Holidays in 2014
All clearing participants:
In accordance with the spirit of the Notice of Arrangements for Market Closure for Public Holidays in 2014 by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (No. [2013] 105 by CSRC), and the arrangements for market closings of the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, the Notice on Arrangements for Clearing and Settlement of Securities Funds during Market Closure for Public Holidays in 2014 is hereby issued as follows:
I. New Year's Day: The market will be closed for one day on January 1, 2014
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on December 31, 2013, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on December 31, 2013, and the fund settlement date will be on January 2, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on January 2, 2014, and securities repos maturing between January 1 to 2, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on January 2, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on January 3, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on December 27, 2013 on the Shanghai Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on January 2, 2014. For B-share transactions occurring on December 27, 30 and 31, 2013 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on January 2, 3 and 6, 2014 respectively.
II. Spring Festival: The market will be closed for seven days from January 31 to February 6, 2014, including a two-day weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on January 30, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on January 30, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on February 7, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on February 7, 2014, and securities repos maturing between January 31 to February 7, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on February 7, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on February 10, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on January 28, 29 and 30, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on February 7, 10 and 11, 2014, respectively.
III. Tomb Sweeping Day: The market will be closed for three days from April 5 to 7, 2014, including the weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on April 4, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on April 4, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on April 8, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on April 8, 2014, and securities repos maturing between April 5 to 8, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on April 8, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on April 9, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on April 2, 2014 on the Shanghai Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on April 8, 2014. For B-share transactions occurring on April 2, 3 and 4, 2014 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on April 8, 9 and 10, 2014, respectively.
IV. Labour Day: The market will be closed for four days from May 1 to 4, 2014, including the weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on April 30, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on April 30, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on May 5, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on May 5, 2014, and securities repos maturing between May 1 to 5, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on May 5, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on May 6, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on April 28 and 29, 2014 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on May 5 and 6, 2014, respectively. For B-share transactions occurring on April 28, 29 and 30, 2014 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on May 5, 7 and 7, 2014, respectively.
V. Dragon Boat Festival: The market will be closed for three days from May 31 to June 2, 2014, including the weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on May 30, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on May 30, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on June 3, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on June 3, 2014, and securities repos maturing between May 31 to June 3, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on June 3, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on June 4, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on May 28, 2014 on the Shanghai Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on June 3, 2014. For B-share transactions occurring on May 28, 29 and 30, 2014 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on June 3, 4 and 5, 2014, respectively.
VI. Mid-Autumn Festival: The market will be closed for three days from September 6 to 8, 2014, including the weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on September 5, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on September 5, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on September 9, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on September 9, 2014, and securities repos maturing between September 6 to 9, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on September 9, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on September 10, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on September 3, 2014 on the Shanghai Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on September 9, 2014. For B-share transactions occurring on September 3, 4 and 5, 2014 on the Shenzhen Stock Market, the fund clearing date will be on September 10, 10 and 11, 2014, respectively.
VII. National Day: The market will be closed for seven days from October 1 to 7, 2014, including the weekend
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on September 30, 2014, and securities repos maturing on the day, the fund clearing date will be on September 30, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on October 8, 2014.
For securities transactions (excluding B-share) occurring on October 8, 2014, and securities repos maturing between October 1 to 8, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on October 8, 2014, and the fund settlement date will be on October 9, 2014.
For B-share transactions occurring on September 26, 29 and 30, 2014, the fund clearing date will be on October 8, 9 and 10, 2014, respectively.
VIII. The arrangements for clearing and settlement of B-shares on the Shanghai Stock Market during the American public holidays (Non-USD Settlement Holidays) in 2014 can be found in Schedule 1.
IX. The arrangements for clearing and settlement of B-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Market during the Hong Kong public holidays in 2014 can be found in Schedule 2.
